The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, Cheltenham 2024

Three years on from the first Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) held in Cheltenham, it's continued to gain momentum with more riders every year. This year we had over 200 riders collectively raising over £19,000, with fundraising continuing until June that will hopefully surpass the £20,000 milestone!

DGR, what's this you may ask yourself? The DGR unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health. This year, Cheltenham's DGR was hosted by our very own dapperly dressed Liam from Harley Davidson and Josh from The Biker Company, both located in Cheltenham and an outstanding job they both did organising the day.

It's alway been a real honour to take part and raise funds for the DGR over the past few years. This was the first year that I was representing Dirtytwins Moto Co and was given the opportunity a few weeks back to attend a pre DGR coffee and cake morning organised by the awesome team at The Biker Company, aimed to create awareness for the upcoming ride. A raffle was held with some great prizes, to which we happily contributed some Dirtytwins merch.

The weather Gods worked their magic, blessing us with all-day sunshine and dry roads, as over 200 riders left Cheltenham's town centre and headed for Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe. After tea and cake, taking in the sights and shaking hands with the dignitaries we set off back to Cheltenham for our final finishing point at Dunkerton's Cider. Not only is it a great cause to raise funds and awareness for, it's a great opportunity to chat bikes, meet new riders and catch up with those faces you already know.

The whole day was kindly documented with amazing photography from Kiki Hitchman and video filmed and edited by Jake Hitchman, which can be viewed below.
